26.3 Release Notes
September 2026
This topic describes the new features, resolved issues, and known limitations for the General Availability (GA) release of Disclosure Management v26.3.
What's New
XBRL Hub and Tagging
- AI Suggestions toggle. A new Labs setting lets administrators enable or disable AI-generated tagging suggestions for their tenant.
- Exhibits screen (foundational). A new page layout and components for managing XBRL exhibits have been introduced; additional exhibit capabilities will build on this in upcoming releases.
- Footnotes. A new Footnotes tab in Fact Details lets you create, edit, link, unlink, delete, and navigate footnotes directly against a tagged fact.
- Footnotes in generated output. Footnotes now appear in the generated report, with the relationship between each footnote and its tag preserved.
- Unit Registry for tagging. Units can now be assigned and edited per tag, including bulk edit across multiple facts, with validation that checks each unit against the element's type and jurisdiction defaults.
- Fact value display by scale and accuracy. Fact values now update correctly when scale, decimal accuracy, or negative-value display settings are changed, with corresponding tooltip updates.
- Concept Swap enhancements. Swapping a concept now resolves the correct role and scaffolds any required extension structure automatically as part of the swap.
- Auto-numbering for custom roles. When creating a custom role, specifying a role number is now optional; if left blank, the number is generated automatically based on the role’s position in the target document.
- Superscript handling in generation. Numeric values with superscript characters (such as footnote markers) are now handled correctly during generation.
- Page/section breaks and shapes in generation. Documents containing embedded shapes now render these shapes correctly in the generated output.
- New tooltip and toast styles. The XBRL add-in now includes light, dark, and danger tooltip variants and color-coded toast icons for clearer status feedback.
- Faster taxonomy editing. Taxonomy data now loads and updates using incremental client-side caching, improving responsiveness when editing concepts, calculations, and labels.
- iXBRL generation options in Word (VSTO). The Word desktop add-in now includes iXBRL generation options previously only available elsewhere.
- XBRL audit log for suggestion and tag activities.
Platform and Localization
- Additional languages. Lineos DM now supports German, Italian, Swedish, Finnish, and French Canadian across the web application, the Lineos DM add-in, and the XBRL add-in.
- Web landing page enhancements: All Files/Favorites section, "recommended" carousel, KPI cards (needs-attention, filing status, next-deadline-by-milestone), resizable/collapsible side panel with keyboard shortcut.
Workspace and Navigation
- Real-time notifications. The Lineos DM add-in now shows real-time notifications with an unread count and bell icon, so new activity is visible immediately without a manual refresh.
- Refreshed add-in design. The Lineos DM add-in has been updated to the latest design system, including an improved user profile header, accordion styling, toast notifications, and updated iconography.
Resolved Issues
The following issues identified during the Beta programme have been resolved in this GA release.
Variables
- The Refresh Variables panel in Word was not displaying updated data after a refresh completed. This has been resolved.
- Variable scope selection in report-scoped supporting documents was not correctly restricting variables to the current report. This has been corrected.
- Creating or updating an oversized table or cross-reference variable returned a generic server error. A clear, specific message is now shown instead.
Data Queries
- The Continue button in the Edit Query flow would flicker and remain enabled when required data source fields were cleared, and saved edits could be lost when switching between pages. Both issues have been resolved.
XBRL Hub
- Copy to Role and Create + Copy Role were not reflecting the concept's updated role in the Swap screen without a manual refresh. This has been corrected.
- Opening a suggestion from the More Suggestions panel could incorrectly navigate to the currently tagged suggestion instead of the one selected. This has been fixed.
- The More Suggestions panel was not updating a suggestion's tagged status immediately after a tag was successfully applied. This has been resolved.
- Create Role and Copy Role operations now display a loader with action detail while processing, providing clearer feedback during the operation.
- Import Taxonomy validation was not correctly evaluating source-specific required fields, which could incorrectly enable or block the import action. This has been corrected.
XBRL Project Setup
- The fiscal date selected during project creation or update was not always retained or validated correctly. This has been fixed.
Reports and Workflow
- The Audit Log did not record a "new version published" entry when a report was republished. This entry is now recorded on every publish, including republishing the same report.
- The Previous dropdown in the Revisions panel had cramped option spacing, text that was cut off without an ellipsis or tooltip, and a focus ring that was clipped on some sides. These display issues have been corrected.
Workspace and Navigation
- The "All Files" list in the homepage was not sorting correctly by Last Update. This has been fixed.
Platform
- Taxonomy upload now runs as a background job with status polling, rather than blocking the interface while the upload completes.
- The suggestions panel now shows friendly, actionable messages for all known failure scenarios, rather than a generic or technical error.
